Elyned Ashcroft is the firm's specialist Agricultural Lawyer.
After studying at Leeds University Elyned gained an Honours Degree in Law. She qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and since then has practised in Cumbria dealing exclusively with all aspects of Agricultural Law. Elyned has particular expertise in farming partnerships, farm sales and purchases, common land issues, property disputes and livestock related matters.
Elyned lives on a Cumbrian hill farm with her family where she indulges in her passion for breeding and showing Fell ponies. She regularly attends most of the local agricultural shows in Cumbria, both in her professional capacity and also as a competitior. She is a member of the Fell Pony Society, the Rough Fell Sheep Breeders' Association and the Agricultural Law Association.
Whilst Elyned is based at the firm's Kirkby Stephen Office she is equally happy to see clients in the Penrith or Appleby offices or "down on the farm" where necessary.
