Licensing

The Licensing Act 2003 came into force on the 24th November 2005. A Premises Licence is required by any establishment that:

  • Sells or supplies alcohol.
  • Provides entertainment by way of music, dancing, indoor sports, plays or films.
  • Provides hot food after 11pm.

In addition the person who manages the premises requires a Personal Licence and there must also be a named designated Premises Supervisor.
